About Randomizer

Randomizer is a free, browser-based toolkit built for fast, fair and unbiased decision-making. Instead of arguing over who goes first, how to split a group into teams, or which option to pick, Randomizer removes the guesswork with a handful of focused random generator tools. Everything runs instantly in your browser — there is nothing to install, no account required, and your lists never leave your device.

The toolkit is built around five core tools. The random team generatorsplits a list of names into balanced, random teams for sports, classrooms, hackathons and workplace groups. The random pair generator creates random pairs for secret santa, mentoring buddies, study partners and tournament seeding. The dice roller rolls a d4, d6, d20, d100 or any custom-sided die and keeps a history of your rolls. The number generatorpicks random numbers within any range, with an optional uniqueness mode for giveaways and lotteries. Finally, the spinner wheel lets you add options to a wheel and spin to pick a single random winner for contests, decisions or classroom activities.

Randomizer is for anyone who needs a quick, fair, random outcome — teachers grouping students, coaches drafting teams, organizers running raffles and giveaways, tabletop players rolling dice, and teams deciding who handles which task. It is designed to be lightweight, distraction-free and genuinely useful, with a clean interface that works equally well on a phone or a desktop.

Randomizer is built and maintained by the Randomizer team as a free utility for the web. We focus on keeping the tools fast, private and reliable. If you have feedback, a feature idea or found a bug, we would love to hear from you on the contact page.
